Actona Group, a global furniture manufacturer with customers in over 90 countries, designs, produces and distributes modern furniture. The main warehouse in Tvis supports the European warehouse operations, while a distribution warehouse in Poland handles shipments to other markets. Since Actona Group became part of the Lars Larsen Group in 2015, the company has continued to operate as an independent entity with a solid set of values.
Efficient warehouse operations are not just about systems and machines, but also about creating the right working conditions for employees. Unnecessarily cumbersome work processes affect both productivity and
work environment. At Actona Group in Tvis, a daily challenge in 2023 was turned
into an optimization opportunity when the company was introduced to JAS.
With 250 employees in Tvis, a well-functioning warehouse operation is crucial for Actona Group’s growth. Increasing demand and changing customer needs, especially driven by online shopping, place greater demands on efficient work processes.
A major challenge at Actona Group was the existing labeling tables, which created bottlenecks in daily operations and had a negative impact on employee ergonomics.
JAS has had a positive impact on Actona Group’s warehouse operations, especially in terms of work processes and work environment. The new picking truck from JAS has eliminated previous challenges and contributed to increased flexibility, fewer interruptions and significantly improved ergonomics – all with a positive effect on productivity.

For Actona Group, the collaboration is not just about one solution, but about long-term optimization of warehouse operations. JAS not only supplies equipment, but actively engages in improving work processes where optimization becomes an investment for the future.
