At UNI-EL, it’s not just production that is in focus. Employee satisfaction, working postures, efficiency and ergonomics are also the company’s focus.

In the collaboration with JAS, ergonomics is one of the main challenges UNI-EL faces. Inappropriate working postures strain employees and reduce both productivity and well-being in the workplace. These challenges have been the deciding factor and driving force behind UNI-EL’s investment in assembly tables with lift/tilt function.

Sit-stand desks with tilt function have led to significant improvements in working postures. The characteristics of the tables have enabled employees to work more ergonomically correct. The ability to individually adjust both height and angle makes it possible to customize the workstations to the individual, which has resulted in more satisfied employees.

"We care a lot about taking care of our colleagues and we value ergonomics. It's not a question of finances and sick days, but the respect that our colleagues should also be in good health the day they leave UNI-EL and be able to enjoy their senior life"
Henrik Olsen
Head of Production, UNI-EL

The collaboration between UNI-EL and JAS represents an inspiring example of how innovative solutions can impact the working environment and efficiency of a company. With a focus on ergonomics and quality, UNI-EL continues to drive the industry forward and set standards for working conditions in switchboard manufacturing.
